# Introducing Buildful Pass for open-weight models

By [Sandeep Panda](https://buildful.ai/authors/sandeep) 2 days ago

Buildful Pass is $30 a month for $80 of usage on four open-weight models, on top of Pro or Team.

It's a coding agent subscription for the open source models you pick yourself. The four [open-weight models](https://buildful.ai/open-weight-models) it covers carry a Pass tag in the model picker. While the pass has allowance left, they run on it instead of your prepaid credit. Once it's spent, they use credit again.

- Add it from the Billing page. Plans paid in rupees can add it too, and the pass itself is billed in US dollars.
- The pass starts, renews and ends with your plan. Bought partway through a month, it charges a share of the $30 and grants the same share of the $80.
- Unused allowance doesn't roll over to the next month.
- Smart Mode tasks still come out of your plan's tasks, not the pass.

The [Buildful Pass post](https://buildful.ai/blog/buildful-pass) explains how the pass works and which models it covers. See [pricing](https://buildful.ai/pricing) for the plans it works with.

Also on October 25:

- Every task runs in a fresh sandbox, so the agent now installs your repo's dependencies before it starts work.
- The agent explains its work in simpler terms, so you can follow a pull request you didn't write.
- The second model that checks the work now remembers what it flagged in earlier passes and how the agent answered, so it stops raising issues that are already fixed.

## Try it on your own repo

Describe a change. Buildful builds it, tests UI changes in a real browser, and opens a pull request. Your first 3 tasks are free, then 1,000 tasks for $10 a month. [See pricing](https://buildful.ai/pricing).
