Bug fix · New feature
DeepSeek V4.1 Flash now works, and we redact your env vars
As of October 19, coding tasks on DeepSeek V4.1 Flash run in Buildful on Pro and Team. DeepSeek V4.1 Flash was in the model picker from October 16, but its tasks failed until this fix. You pay for it from prepaid credit. Read more about open-weight models in Buildful.
Env var values are redacted
Buildful redacts your repo's env var values from what the agent writes back, including pull request descriptions. Each value is replaced with <redacted> in the agent's replies, its reasoning, tool output, errors and the summary that becomes the pull request description. So a secret the agent reads while it works doesn't end up in a reply or a PR. It matches exact values of 8 characters or more: shorter values and encoded or partial copies aren't caught, and the files the agent writes in your repo aren't scanned. The Environment variables section of a repo's Configure sheet now says this too.
Also on October 19:
- A task's duration in its header counts only the time the agent worked, across every turn and retry, and leaves out the time the task sat idle.
- Model logos in the picker show in dark mode.

Describe a change. Buildful builds it, tests UI changes in a real browser, and opens a pull request. Your first 3 tasks are free, then 1,000 tasks for $10 a month. See pricing.
