New feature

You can now steer the agent while it works

By Syed Fazle Rahman

In Buildful you can add a note to a running task, and the agent picks it up mid-turn without starting over. It's the same kind of steering Claude Code and Codex users do in a terminal, for a task that runs in the cloud.

While a task runs, the box under the thread says "Add a note for the agent. It reads it at its next step." Type a correction or a missing detail and send it. Your note shows in the thread as a nudge card, and the agent's next steps follow it. Notes are text only.

Also on October 9:

  • The task view shows the agent's web searches as steps, next to the files it read and the commands it ran.
  • Your task list filters (status, repo, and who started the task) are remembered in your browser, separately for each team.

See how a background coding agent runs a task from start to pull request.

Try it on your own repo

Describe a change. Buildful builds it, tests UI changes in a real browser, and opens a pull request. Your first 3 tasks are free, then 1,000 tasks for $10 a month. See pricing.
