New accounts now get a guide to their first task

By Syed Fazle Rahman

New Buildful accounts now open with a short welcome guide for your first task, in three steps: connect GitHub, describe what you want, then review and merge. You can reopen it any time from the help menu.

Above the task box, a Get started checklist shows which step you're on. Once GitHub is connected, the example tasks under the task box fill it with a first task you can send as it is. The checklist goes away after your first task. To see the guide again, click "?" in the sidebar and choose "How Buildful works".

Also on October 12:

  • The Repos page has a search box, so you can find a repo by typing part of its name. You can also filter by public or private and by setup status, and sort by recently updated.
  • The base branch picker in the task box remembers its list, so it opens without waiting on GitHub each time.

Read how Buildful works to see what happens after you send a task.

Describe a change. Buildful builds it, tests UI changes in a real browser, and opens a pull request. Your first 3 tasks are free, then 1,000 tasks for $10 a month. See pricing.
